Who is this program for?
The Foundational Certificate course is ideal for radiologists, radiology residents, physicists, data scientists and clinical researchers seeking foundational-level AI knowledge who want to learn how to safely evaluate, implement, use and monitor performance of AI-based tools for medical imaging.
The Advanced Certificate course is ideal for radiologists, radiology residents, physicists, data scientists and clinical researchers seeking a deeper understanding of how to deploy, monitor and use AI algorithms within clinical practice.
How can residents enroll?

RSNA members in training
Residents who are RSNA members can enroll in either course within the program at a discounted rate. The Foundational Certificate course rate is $550 and the Advanced Certificate course rate is $750.

Non-member residents
Not an RSNA member? No problem! If you’re a resident who would like to take advantage of discounted course registration, you can join RSNA for free. Once your membership is activated, you are eligible to enroll in the Foundational or Advanced Certificate course at the discounted rate.
How is the program course structured?
Each certificate course in the program is easy-to-navigate and is organized:
- In an asynchronous learning environment, allowing participants to work at their own pace
- In a series of modules that combine on-demand videos and hands-on coursework
The Foundational Certificate course provides six modules of introductory-level education. All six modules for the Foundational Certificate course are available upon enrollment.
The Advanced Certificate course provides six modules of advanced-level education. All six modules for the Advanced Certificate course are available upon enrollment.
How much time commitment is involved?
The time commitment varies and depends on the participant’s learning style. On average, each module should take no more than three hours to complete.
How much CME does this course offer?
The Foundational Certificate course has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™️.
CME credit will not be offered for the Advanced Certificate course.
When are the course modules released?
All six modules for the Foundational Certificate course have been released and are available upon enrollment.

How can I access the modules?
To gain access, you must be logged into your account. Next, click on the "My Learning" tab.
How do I earn a certificate in the program?
Participants earn their certificate upon successful completion of the course curriculum in which they are enrolled.
Will there be more advanced courses offered in the future?
The Foundational and Advanced Certificate courses are the first two courses currently available within the RSNA Imaging AI Certificate Program.
Additional courses will be available in the future, building on concepts from the Foundational and Advanced Certificate courses, providing the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest AI technology and utilization.
When I sign up for the foundational-level course, am I auto-enrolled in future courses within the program?
No, you will need to enroll in each course within the program separately.
Can I pay via wire transfer?
Yes, but please note that access to the course will not be provided until the wire transfer and all associated fees are received in full.
